This 4-session learning cohort is for anyone—pastors, ministry leaders, and lay people—who want to help their church engage their community with both compassion and wisdom. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to grow an existing outreach, this cohort will offer practical tools, theological reflection, and real-life guidance to help your church be a faithful presence in your neighborhood. This cohort will be conducted by Peter Ong of Redeemer City-to-City and will be an iteration of CTC’s community engagement cohort.
What to Expect:
4 interactive sessions from July to August 2024
Practical, hands-on teaching from experienced leaders
A theologically rich framework for understanding God, self, neighbor, and place
Tools to develop a community engagement strategy rooted in your church’s context
Approaches that go beyond short-term charity toward long-term transformation
Optional follow-up coaching or site visits for additional support
